Adding a new assignee to a task
Prerequisites
- Access to the Board and backlog (KN008) menu.
- Configured workspace.
- Created task.
- Edit assignee permission enabled in the workspace of the board containing the task, or being a member of the Management team.
Introduction
When a task is created, a user is assigned to it. If there is no one assigned, or the assignee needs to be changed, you can perform this operation without accessing the task data.
Adding a new assignee
1. Access the Board and backlog (KN008) menu.
2. Select the workspace of the board containing the task that will have its assignee changed.
3. Click on the desired task.
4. Then, click on the button, and then on Assign.
5. In the Assignee field of the screen that will be displayed, if the task already has an assignee defined, it is possible to delete them by clicking on the X next to their name.
6. To add a new assignee, click on the field and select the desired user. To filter the search, type their name or ID.
7. After selecting the new assignee, click on Save.
Conclusion
Whenever necessary, it is possible to change the assignee of a task!
