Importing the DIINTERFACE spreadsheet
Prerequisite
- Access to the Spreadsheet import and integration > Import tracking (DI013) menu.
Introduction
There are two ways to import spreadsheets with data into the system: by importing them directly through the system or adding them through a specific directory that will be read.
This article will explore how to import them directly through the system. See more details about the operation:
Downloading the spreadsheet template
The spreadsheet to be imported must be configured correctly. Thus, its header (first row) must contain all the fields found in the DIINTERFACE table, and the spreadsheet must be saved with XLS or XLSX extension.
Instead of manually filling out all the columns in the DIINTERFACE table, the system allows for downloading a template that has these columns already completed, with the only need being inserting the required information in the body of each column used.
Follow the steps below to learn how to download the spreadsheet template:
1. Access the Spreadsheet import and integration > Import tracking (DI013) menu.
2. Click on the toolbar button. At this point, the Excel spreadsheet template will be exported.

Importing the DIINTERFACE spreadsheet
1. Access the Spreadsheet import and integration > Import tracking (DI013) menu.
2. Click on the button.
3. On the screen that will open, drag the spreadsheet to the specified area or click on the select option to navigate among the directories on your computer and select the desired spreadsheet.
4. If the spreadsheet is saved in the correct format (XLS or XLSX) and has all fields contained in the DIINTERFACE table, the Excel file validated successfully message will be displayed. Otherwise, the errors found in the selected spreadsheet will be shown. To remove the spreadsheet from the import screen, hover the mouse over the corresponding card and click on the button.
5. If the spreadsheet is successfully validated, click on the Import button.

For a detailed description on how to add a spreadsheet through a specific directory that will be read, refer to the SoftExpert Suite - Integration guide document.
