Configurations discontinued in the project type and in the program type

Some options available in the project type and in the program type have been discontinued in this version.

Now, it will not be possible to define customer/supplier association as a requirement, or to restrict this association to specific steps. These configuration options have been removed to simplify the task parameterization model.

Associating customers and suppliers with a project/program will be optional and will have no step restrictions.

 

A quicker and more intuitive association among components

As of this version, the way to associate objects among components is much more practical.

Before, these associations used to be performed in different tabs and sections, slowing down the process.

Now, everything is centralized in a new section called Associations, which gathers, in one single screen, all the association types available for the component. Simply choose the type and the desired object to create links quickly and clearly, without the need to exit or close the screen.

Records are organized by association type (Associated, Created, Created by), with filter options and display mode as a list or card. 

It is also possible to create new records directly from this screen — such as a new asset or even a workflow —, which further facilitates the integration among the components and brings agility to the day-to-day routine.

The "Document", "Meeting", and "Customer/Supplier" buttons have been removed from the project data screen, and linked records have been transferred to the new section.

 

Kanban tasks associated with project task deliveries

There are more association options in this version! Now, the system allows for associating Kanban tasks with the deliveries of project tasks. 

This improvement enables a more integrated and centralized management during task execution.

 

Associations in the project status report

In the new version of the system, indicators associated with a project, and action plans associated with a status report, will be displayed in the "Associations" section of the status report.

This facilitates the analysis of information related to the performance of projects, centralizing the display of the associations.

 

New main screen with a modern design and smart resources

The Communication channel, Communication item, Project role, and Objective menus now display a new main screen: more modern, standardized, and practical.

With optimized filters and a new listing, records are easier to view and manage.

Now, it is possible to create a new item from scratch, import a template, use the "Ask AI" option – available to those who have the Copilot component –, or even use a REST API to automate the process.

This new screen also allows for exporting data from lists in a format that can be reused in other environments of the system. Moreover, it is possible to edit records individually, change statuses, or delete multiple items all at once.

All this is meant for streamlining the routine and making management even more efficient.

The "Ask AI" resource will only be available to customers that have the license for SoftExpert Copilot.
