Time control - 2.2.1

Nonproject task security

From version 2.2.1 onwards, aiming to improve the management of access controls, the security of the SoftExpert Time Control component works with permission profiles.

It is now possible to create and manage profiles through a new menu. This new feature improves the security of the nonproject task

Previously, only members of the responsible team and the user responsible for the task could edit the created tasks. Other users, including departments, positions, users, and teams, could only view the data, without making any changes.

The following changes have been made with this feature:

Permission customization

With the new security, it is possible to create detailed access profiles, including permissions to: edit, delete, view, list, and view finances.

These profiles can be assigned to: teams, organizational units, departments/positions, positions, and users, enabling a more precise management of tasks.

Public security

For tasks defined as public, we will implement a default configuration in which all users will have the permissions defined through the ALL - Task permission profile.

For public tasks, only users and members of the teams responsible for the task will be able to edit the records through the TC008, TC010, and TC009 menus.

Restricted security

For tasks defined as restricted, all responsible users (responsible for the task and members of the responsible team) will have basic permissions: edit, delete, list, view, and view finances.

In addition to the preset permissions, it will be possible to add new teams, organizational units, departments/positions, positions, and users, and define the access profiles.

For restricted tasks, in addition to users and members of the teams responsible for the task, users with access to edit and delete will be able to edit the records through the TC008, TC010, and TC009 menus.

Stakeholder feature discontinued

As the "Stakeholder" feature is being discontinued, all related data has been migrated to the new security system.

Users with the access level of the Responsible type in the Stakeholder have been migrated to the ALL - Task permission profile, while Stakeholders were migrated to the STAKEHOLDER - Task profile, with access to "List" and "View".
