New survey response layout

The survey response screen is now quicker and more intuitive through new components and resources.

The new screen layout will benefit users and system administrators in different ways, as its minimalist and intuitive design improves survey usability, reduces errors, increases response rates, provides efficiency in data collection, increases user satisfaction, makes data collection more precise, facilitates data analysis, provides customization and flexibility, increases compatibility with mobile devices, reduces withdrawal, and saves resources.

Thus, the new survey response screen adds quality to data collection and efficiency to the general search process, making user experience more pleasant.

Now, upon clicking on the Link for sharing button on the survey data screen, it is possible to generate a unique link or a QR Code to answer it.

This feature facilitates sharing and accessing the survey.

Thus, when the user receives the link via e-mail, for example, they can access it, log into the system, and immediately answer the survey.

  • The unique will be available for internal and external users recorded as survey respondents.
  • The QR Code can only be used by internal users recorded as respondents.

An option has been added to request the respondent identification when the survey is opened through the multiple answer link.

Until now, all answers collected through the link would be anonymous, which made it harder to stratify data later.

With this improvement, if the survey is not anonymous, the Request respondent identification option will be enabled in its data screen.

Simply check it to add the Name and E-mail fields to the response form:

This improvement reinforces our commitment to user data privacy and security, ensuring only essential information is collected in a transparent way, in accordance with data protection regulations.

If the option is not checked, the system will continue to save answers as anonymous.

Moreover, it is possible to generate a QR Code for the multiple answer link through the Link for sharing button on the survey data screen.

The QR Code can be used by anyone with access to the internet, even if they are not registered respondents.

This feature is great for sharing and collecting data in events or any other scenario in which the multiple answer link is useful!

Interface to import questions and answers

An interface has been added to import questions and answers in the Scheduling (CM017) menu!

The user can now quickly import a batch of questions and answers to the question database of the organization.

  • After they are imported, the questions can be used in surveys.
  • It will not be possible to import questions directly into existing surveys.

Support to public domain in internal environments discontinued

From version 2.2.1 onwards, SoftExpert Survey no longer supports configuring a public domain to send surveys when the environment is internal.

This measure is necessary because the system must be published externally for external users to be able to connect with login and password.

In practical terms, all internal environments with public domain configured are already published externally. Thus, it is only necessary to adjust the DOMAIN property in the configuration files to the domain that has already been externally published.

Adjust DOMAIN property to:

<install_dir>/tools/configurator/run.bat (Windows)

/usr/local/se/conf/database_config.xml (Linux)

The internal address, which was still valid, may continue to work as long as it is configured as ALLOWHOST in one of the previously mentioned configuration files.

This adjustment will only be necessary for customers with internal environments that have not been externally published yet.
