The solution makes it possible to manage:

Projects – Set of structured tasks aimed at delivering products, services, or specific results, considering the scope, the resources, the deadlines, and risk management.

Programs – Interconnected groups of projects that share the same resources and objectives, providing benefits that would not be possible in an isolated manner.

Portfolios – Broad set of projects and programs organized to ensure strategic alignment, optimize resource allocation, and prioritize initiatives.

Moreover, SoftExpert Project features detailed charts and reports for performance analysis, financial control, and indicator tracking, making management more agile, transparent, and strategic.

What are its characteristics?

When accessing the component, you will see it is divided into the following menus:

Configuration	Menu in which the initial configurations of the component are set; they will be used later on to add the other features. Without a project type configured, for example, it is not possible to plan a project.
File	Menu for creating forms, project templates, status report templates, objectives, and statuses.
Management	Menu for planning and managing projects, programs, and portfolios.
Execution	Menu for executing and verifying tasks, as well as filling out timesheets.
View	Menu that gathers the information of all records for an overview.

By following the steps in the flows below, you will be able to configure and operate SoftExpert Project successfully.

The first flow refers to the planning of projects through templates:

This creation template is useful for scenarios in which similar projects need to be created very often. In this case, simply build a project structure once and use it whenever necessary. The template of a software development project will be used as an example.

The second flow demonstrates the creation of projects from scratch:

This flow is recommended for task management. To illustrate, it will demonstrate the planning of an app development project.

The third flow refers to the process of creating programs:

We recommend using portfolios when there are various projects and programs that need to be related and managed together. A portfolio with innovation and growth projects and programs will be developed as an example.
