Checking system sessions

 

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Configuration > Monitoring > Session history (CM0001) menu.
  • Session in SoftExpert Suite

 

Introduction

SoftExpert Configuration provides a menu in which it is possible to view the history of all system sessions, whether open or closed. 

By recording when users log in and out, the system calculates the length of each access. If the session is still open, the system will use the current time to calculate the length. Additionally, it is also possible to know which license key was used and the IP address of the stations from which the system was accessed.

The session history of SoftExpert Suite stores relevant data on:

  • Login, user, license key of the users who connected to SoftExpert Suite.
  • Login and logout date and time of the users who connected to SoftExpert Suite.
  • Login status – whether the login was valid or invalid –, such as invalid password.
  • IP of the host through which the user connected to SoftExpert Suite.

Checking system sessions

1. Access the Configuration > Monitoring > Session history (CM0001) menu.

2. Click on the SEARCH button. 

3. Use the buttons available on the toolbar to perform the necessary actions on the recorded sessions:

Click on this button to disconnect the user selected in the list of records.
Click on this button to disconnect all users authenticated in the system.
Click on this button to view all accesses for the session selected in the list of records (URL). This button will only be enabled via a parameter in the database.
