Executing a document revision

The Revision execution to-do task of SoftExpert Document will be displayed if the user is responsible or is part of a team responsible for executing a revision step of the document.

The revisions of all steps will be shown, but only revisions in the review, approval, and release steps can be executed.

A - This icon is displayed for tasks that are being revised via workflow or that, in the case of ISO9000, are in the draft or closure step. This icon indicates that the task cannot be executed in the mobile version.

B - When the button located next to each task is tapped, the following options will be displayed:

Document data: displays information about the document. Below the document data, the electronic files of the document will be displayed in the form of a button. Tap on the files to view them. They will be downloaded in order to be opened; therefore, the View and Save locally permissions will be required.

Send to next step: when this option is selected, the task will be executed, and the revision will be sent to the next step. The user may be required to view the document when executing the task, if this configuration is set in the general parameters of SoftExpert Document. It will not be possible to send the revision to the next step if there is a checklist associated with the step being executed.

Send back to draft step: when this option is selected, the task will be executed, and the revision will return to the draft step. If the revision is configured to require critiques, it will not be possible to return it to the draft step in the mobile version, as critiques can only be provided in the desktop version.
