Creating media

This topic will teach you to create media to be used as document files.

To do that, take the following steps:

 

1st step: Creating a media type

Once the document is archived in the current step, we will create a transfer form to send it to the next step configured in the record retention schedule, which is the media burning step.

To do that, access the AR036 menu and click on the button.

On the screen that will open, fill in the ID # field with "03" and the Name field with "Pen drive".

 

After doing that, click on the button.

 

2nd step: Creating media

To create media, access the AR005 menu, click on the button, and select the previously created "Pen drive" type.

On the media data screen, click on the arrow next to the ID # field to generate an automatic number.

Then, fill out the Name field with "Pen drive 01" and the Recording date field with a nearby date.

After doing that, click on the button.

The media was created successfully!
