Prerequisites
- Access to the Execution > Target/Measurement menu (ST045) menu.
- Scorecard containing a previously created indicator.
Introduction
The Target/Measurement menu allows the user to manually record target and measurement values for the scorecard indicators to which they have permission.
This feature centralizes data entry from different scorecards onto a single screen, facilitating the periodic updating of performance information.
This article will demonstrate how to include target and measurement values in a scorecard.
Include target values and measurement
1. Access the Execution > Goal/Measurement (ST045) menu.
2. The indicators, for which the user has Target and/or Measurement permission, will be displayed and organized into tabs according to frequency (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, among others).
3. At the top of the screen, use the filters to locate the desired scorecard or indicator.
Filter scorecard or indicator
Filter by ID or name
Please provide the identifier or name of the scorecard whose indicators will have the reported values.
Scorecard structure
Click on Scorecard Structure to locate an indicator using the structure of a specific scorecard.
Filter by deadline
Use the target/measurement deadline status filter: Overdue, Nearing due date, or On schedule.
4. The indicators have the following fields to be filled in:
- Target (when the indicator has a target).
- Measurement.
- Weight (when not fixed).
- Additional fields (when they exist and are not obtained by formula).
- Goals and measurements calculated using a formula are indicated in the Inclusion column.
- Period columns : the columns represent the periods displayed according to the selected configuration.
Additional information
When you hover your mouse over a period, the following options are available:
N/A
This indicates that there will be no value for the period, and it will be disregarded in the scorecard calculation.
Annex
Allows you to include attachments related to the period.
Comment
Allows you to record a comment regarding the period.
5. To enter a value, click on the corresponding field and type the value according to the defined unit of measurement.
6. If you want to extend a value to other periods, enter the value, click the gray arrow at the bottom of the field, and drag it along the same line to the other desired periods.
7. After entering all the desired values, click Save to register the information.

To use this menu, the user must have been granted Target and/or Measurement permissions in the indicator's security settings.
Indicators with frequency per event are not displayed in this menu.
If the indicator does not use a standard scale, an option will be displayed to manually define the range intervals after saving the target values.
It is not possible to enter target values and measurement indicators that require approval. In these cases, the operation must be performed via the Scorecard Execution menu.
Conclusion
The Goal/Measurement menu is essential for the periodic updating of indicators in SoftExpert Performance. With it, you can centrally input goals and measurements and ensure that scorecard calculations reflect up-to-date and consistent data.
After entering the values, the next step is to execute the scorecard.
