Executing a simplified calibration activity
Prerequisites
- Access to the Execution > Activity execution (MA010) menu.
- Previously configured calibration plan.
- Previously created service center.
Introduction
If the Create activity automatically option is checked in the activity plan, the system will automatically create the calibration activity, sending it directly to the responsible technician. Thus, the steps in this article become useful for activity plans that do not have the automatic creation option checked, or for when an activity outside the frequency needs to be created.
In this article, as an example, a calibration activity will be created from the plan configured in the previous step, the objective of which is to calibrate measuring tapes. All resources needed for executing a calibration will be covered, but the completion of the tables has been separated into other articles. This step of the flow will be finished after the simple table is filled out, which can be accessed via the link below the video.
Creating a calibration activity
Watch the video below to learn how to execute a calibration activity:
Finish executing the calibration by filling out the tables according to their types:
Only calibration-related data was covered in the video. The other resources are the same for all activity types of the component and have already been described in another article. If you have any questions about the other features, click here and watch the video available in the article that will open.
Conclusion
Once all calibration data and measurement results are entered, the simplified-calibration flow will have been completed successfully! Access the other flows in the introduction article to learn how to use other resources of the Maintenance component.
