Prerequisites
- Access the Execution menu > APQP/PPAP Execution (AP006).
- APQP/PPAP with the planning finalized.
- User defined as the activity creator or responsible team member.
- Forms associated with activities during planning.
Presentation
The execution of APQP/PPAP activities is the stage in which the planned forms are completed and the actual study data are recorded in the system.
This process ensures traceability, information control, and alignment between planning and execution, both in the APQP/PPAP component and in the integration with SoftExpert Project.
Execute APQP/PPAP
1. Access the Execution menu > APQP/PPAP Execution (AP006).
2. Use the filters to identify activities in the "Starting" status.
3. Select the desired activity and click the edit button to open the data screen.
4. In the Completed section, enter the activity's Start date. Upon saving, the status will change to In Progress.
5. Complete all the information required by the form associated with the activity, according to the type of study (checklists, trials, analyses, plans, or reports).
6. Attach documents and documents related to the execution of the activity.
7. Enter the activity end date and save the record.
- If an approval step is configured, the activity will be sent for approval.
- Otherwise, the activity will be terminated automatically.

Execute APQP/PPAP of project
When APQP/PPAP is integrated into a SoftExpert Project, execution can occur directly through the component:
1. In SoftExpert Project, open the Activity Execution task.
2. Provide the start dates and, where applicable, the end dates of the project activity.
3. Activate the option to access the APQP/PPAP activity data and fill out the corresponding form.
4. The activity will remain in progress until an end date is specified. After completion and closure, the data will be automatically synchronized between the project and APQP/PPAP.
- It is not possible to close an activity without filling out the associated form.
- Completed activities can automatically generate approval tasks, according to the plan.
- In project-integrated activities, the project's progress directly reflects the APQP/PPAP status.
