Prerequisites

• Access the menu Registration > APQP/PPAP Template (AP001).
• Standard or customized forms previously registered in the system.
• Users, teams, and, where applicable, approval processes properly configured.

Presentation

The APQP/PPAP model allows for the standardization of planning new studies by pre-establishing forms, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and establishing approval rules.

By using templates, the organization reduces manual effort in registering APQP/PPAPs, ensures consistency between similar projects, and maintains alignment with internal and customer requirements.

Each APQP/PPAP can be created from a template, which will serve as the basis for planning activities, facilitating schedule management and the execution of process steps.

Creating an APQP/PPAP template

1. Access the menu Registration > APQP/PPAP Template (AP001).

2. Click the Add button to create a new template or select an existing template for editing.

3. Fill in the basic fields for identifying the record, such as identifier and name .

4. In the list of activities, click the add button and select one of the options:

• Form : Allows you to add one form at a time directly to the list.
• Multiple : Allows you to select and include multiple forms simultaneously.

5. For each form included, please provide the following information:

• Duration (in days) of the activity.
• Developer : type (user or team) and person responsible for execution.
• Approver (optional): type (user, team, or approval roadmap) and person responsible for approving the activity.

6. If necessary, reorganize the activities and review the responsibilities and deadlines directly in the list.

7. After configuring all tabs and options, click the button to complete the APQP/PPAP template registration.
