Organizational mapping overview
Introduction
Organizational mapping is a process that defines and displays the structure of an organization, identifying its different departments, positions, and the hierarchical and functional relationships between them.
It provides a clear view of the organizational structure, showing how departments and teams are interconnected. This helps the organization's members better understand their own roles and the roles of their colleagues.
Mapping is a key tool when it comes to planning organizational changes, such as restructuring departments, and assists in succession planning and in the identification of employee development opportunities.
An organizational mapping can be entirely performed within SoftExpert Suite system, keeping all the information organized and easily accessible.
