How to use conditional expressions

Prerequisites

  • Previously created survey.
  • Access to the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or to the Management > Survey planning (SV005) menu.

Introduction

Conditional expressions in SoftExpert Survey allow for creating more interactive surveys, in which the flow of questions varies according to the participants' answers.

This resource is configured in the Section tab of the survey data screen. It defines a situation for the question to be presented, ensuring that the survey is more fluid and adapted to the organization's needs.

See how to use this resource below:

Using conditional expressions

1. Access the Execution > Survey execution (SV028) menu or the Management > Survey planning (SV005) menu.

2. Select the desired record and click on the button.

3. On the record data screen, go to the Section tab.

4. Select a question from the list and then click on the button to add a condition.

5. On the screen that will open, fill in the first field of the Group section with the conditioning question.

6. In the second field, enter the answer that will condition the question from the list.

7. It is possible to add more than one conditional expression by clicking on the Add conditional expression button. When this button is clicked, the AND and OR options will be enabled.

8. It will also be possible to add another question group by clicking on the Add group button.

9. After defining the conditions, click on Save to finish.

Conclusion

Once the conditional expressions are configured, the questions will be presented according to the participants' answers.
