Presentation
The Registration > Manufacturer (SU007) menu centralizes and standardizes the data of the companies responsible for producing the items.
The manufacturer registration requires the "Company Type" configured in SoftExpert Administration as a prerequisite. After registering the manufacturer, the menu Management > Input x Manufacturer Association (SU010) allows you to link each input to the manufacturing company, also registering the reference code and the model used by the manufacturer.
Register manufacturer
1. Access the menu Registration > Manufacturer (SU007) .
2. Click the button
on the toolbar.
3. Select the type that classifies the manufacturer and click the button
.
4. On the screen that will open, enter an identifier and a name for the manufacturer.
5. In the available fields, add the address , city , state , country , zip code , phone number , fax number , code , and manufacturer's homepage .
6. In the Coordinates section , select the geographic data format (Lat/Long or UTM) and add the manufacturer's coordinates.
7. In the Description field , include any important notes about the manufacturer.
8. On the Attribute tab , add fields to supplement the manufacturer information. For more details on registering attributes, click here .
9. Click the button
to enable the other tabs.
10. In the Contact tab , include the collaborators who will serve as points of contact between the manufacturer and your organization.
11. In the Documentation tab , include attachments from the directory or associate SoftExpert Documents related to the manufacturer.
12. Click the Save and Exit button to save the record.

After saving the record for the first time, the Contact tab will be enabled. Here, you can provide the names of the people who will serve as points of contact between the manufacturer and your organization.

and select the "Add contact" option .

5. In the Area field , specify the area of the organization in which the contact works.
6. In the Function field , enter the function performed by the contact.

7. Check the box "Use as default company contact?" if you want this contact to become the manufacturer's default contact.
