Configuring a task type

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Configuration > Classification > Task type (PM033) menu.

Introduction

Task types allow for classifying and organizing tasks added to projects, as well as nonproject tasks in the SoftExpert Time control component. This categorization is essential to standardize records and makes it easier to track tasks in the system.

All task types must be created in the Task type (PR033) menu. They will be presented in a hierarchical structure, providing a clearer and more organized view, based on the complexity and nature of the executed actions.
