Blocking file download
Prerequisites
- Access to the Drive (DR001) menu.
- Logged user with editor permission.
Introduction
The download block feature in SoftExpert Drive allows for restricting the download of files and folders, which ensures that records can only be accessed within the system.
When this option is enabled, users with access permissions will not be able to download the records in order to use them outside the environment of SoftExpert Drive. When applied to folders, this restriction extend to all records contained in them.
Blocking downloads
1. From the Drive (DR001) menu, access the My drive vision.
2. Hover the mouse over the file or folder and expand the button that will be enabled.
3. Click on the Share or Manage access option to open the sharing screen.
4. Click on the button to access the advanced configurations.
5. Enable the Block download option.

Conclusion
By blocking records from being downloaded, SoftExpert Drive provides an additional security layer, ensuring that files are accessed exclusively within the platform.
