Associating an asset with a customer
Prerequisites
- Access to the File > Customer (CT001) menu.
- A previously created customer.
- Access to the Management > Asset definition (AS016) menu.
- A previously created asset.
Introduction
By means of the association between SoftExpert Customer and SoftExpert Asset, it is possible to identify the assets that a customer has borrowed and track them in an organized manner.
Associating an asset with a customer
1. Access the File > Customer (CT001) menu.
2. Select the desired customer.
3. Click on the 
button.
4. Click on Associations and select Asset.
5. Click on the Associate button.
6. In the Object field, select the asset you want to associate.
7. Click on the Associate button.
8. Upon finishing the associations, click on Save and exit.
In addition to associating assets, you can also use the Create button to add new assets associated automatically with the customer.
Conclusion
With the associations finished, the assets related to the customer can be viewed and monitored.
