Creating an action plan using the wizard
Prerequisites
- Previously created categories.
- Access to the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
Introduction
To make it easier to add new plans, SoftExpert Action plan provides a creation wizard.
It allows for creating action plans from scratch, advancing through the steps until the new record is complete.

Creating plans using the wizard
1. Access the Actions and plans (PL001) menu.
2. Expand the Create button and click on Add action plan using wizard.
3. On the screen that will open, choose one of the available tabs:
- Blank: use this tab to create a plan from scratch, not based on a prior action plan template. To do so, simply select the category of the action plan to be created and click on Next.
- From an existing template: use this tab to create an action plan from a template built beforehand. To do so, simply select the desired template in the respective field and click on Next.
4. In the General data section of the wizard, fill in the available fields with the general information of the record and the parties responsible for it.
5. In the Approval section, select the responsibility route for approval and effectiveness verification. Choose the approval type as you wish. This section will only be displayed if these steps are enabled in the selected category. To this end, access the Configuring the approval in the category article and learn more.

6. In the Summary section, fill in the description, objective, explanation, or benefit fields of the action plan.
7. In the Action record section, add actions directly through the New action button. By expanding this button, it will also be possible to insert actions with the aid of SoftExpert's artificial intelligence, through the Ask AI option, or traditionally, using the action data screen, by means of the Action via screen option. 8. After adding the desired actions to the action plan, simply click on Finish to complete the plan record.
9. Finally, it will be possible to open the data of the plan, send it to the next step, or close the creation wizard.
