Configure track
1. Access the Configuration > Range (ST029) menu.
2. Click the button 
to add a track.
3. Provide an identifier and a name.
4. In the Configuration field, select how the achievement percentage will be interpreted:
- The bigger the better : indicated when larger results represent better performance, for example, revenue.
- The smaller the better : indicated when smaller results represent better performance, for example, complaints.
- Stabilize : indicated when the ideal is for the measurement to remain within a defined range. When selecting this option, the Classification is automatically set to Other and the system only provides sets of three or five items.
5. In Classification, select how the system will interpret the indicator result in relation to the items in the range:
- Optimistic : goal achieved when the item score is equal to or greater than the measurement.
- Pessimistic : target not met when the item score is equal to or less than the measurement.
- Other : considers upper and lower ranges; the measurement should fall between them.
6. In the Gauge field, select the chart to be used to graphically represent the range.
7. The fields Revision (displays the current revision number), Status (indicates the current status of the range, for example, drafting, approved, etc.) and Effective date (available from the second revision onwards and defines from which date the revision will be applied to the associated indicators) are for viewing purposes only.
8. In the Icon Set tab, you can define which icons will represent the items in the strip.
9. If desired, you can add a description in the corresponding tab.

to save the configuration.
After saving, the Icon Set tab is no longer displayed, and the Item, Gauge, and Calculation tabs are presented for later editing.
For a range to be excluded, it cannot be associated with any gauge.
Adding a revision is only allowed once the lane has been approved. To approve, select the desired lane and click the corresponding button.
When deleting a track revision, approved revisions cannot be removed.
