Creating a department
Prerequisite
- Access to the SoftExpert Administration > File > Organization structure > Organizational unit (AD003) menu.
Introduction
The organization structure is usually composed of different departments, which divide the activities executed in the company.
SoftExpert Suite allows creating all departments in the organization, facilitating their management.
For our example, we will create the "Commercial" department.

Additional information
• Members of the control team can view the records related to the department users by accessing the menus in the Administration, Competence, and Training components. The team set in this field complements the team set in the general parameters (if any).
• If a control team is not set, the view permissions set in the "Allow logged user to view records from" field of the SoftExpert Administration general parameters will be considered.

• The Organizational mapping performed in the relationship between department and position is used to manage the employee profile. Refer to the SoftExpert Administration manual for further information.
• The association between departments and positions can be performed both through the department data screen and the position data screen.

The departments are duly created and ready to be managed.
