Exporting and importing a REST data source

 

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Data source management > Data sources > REST (DI001) menu.
  • Previously created REST data source.
  • User with permission to edit REST data sources registered in the system.

 

Introduction

The system allows for importing REST data sources from different databases. To this end, the sources must be configured, exported, and then imported into another database.

In this article, the focus is on exporting and importing the sources. For more details on how to configure them, refer to the Configuring a REST data source article.

 

 

Exporting a REST data source

1. Access the Data source management > Data sources > REST (DI001) menu.

2. Search for and select the source that will be exported.

3. From the toolbar, click on the Export option. 

4. The Export selected tab will show the source selected for export. If you wish to export all REST data sources registered in the system, select the Export all tab.

5. Click on the Export button. A file with .se extension will be saved.

 

Importing a REST data source

1. Access the Data source management > Data sources > REST (DI001) menu.

2. From the toolbar, click on the Import option. 

3. Click on the select option or drag the .se file to the specified area.

4. Click on the Import button.
