Task center

The Task center is an evolution of the old My tasks menu, now with a more modern and efficient proposal. 

Previously, the user needed to access different screens in order to execute activities such as revisions, revalidations, etc. 

With the new Center, all tasks are gathered in a single optimized environment, which allows for a more fluid and centralized navigation. 

This redesign brings about greater convenience to the day-to-day routine, as it allows for viewing, filtering, and executing tasks of different types in a single place.

Improvements in specific tasks

The Repository capacity by storeroom area task is now called Repository capacity exceeded.

This change seeks to make the name clearer and more straightforward, reflecting, with greater accuracy, the purpose of the task – which is to indicate when the physical space taken up by the repositories exceeds the maximum area delimited in the storeroom.

This change also facilitates the identification of the task in searches and reports, contributing to a more agile and intuitive navigation in SoftExpert Storeroom.

In addition to the name change, the Repository capacity exceeded task, along with the Maximum capacity exceeded task (for when the maximum number of objects allowed in a storage place is exceeded), has received a new customized visual bar.

This bar clearly displays the maximum capacity, the number of checked-out items, and the estimated final stock, which allows for tracking, in real-time, the occupancy of the storeroom.

The information is displayed in a summarized manner and aids in decision-making, as the tasks remain pending until the removal criteria are met, which ensures a complete and precise control over the storeroom's capacity.

 

In version 3.0, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management.

The Attribute (STM033), Checklist (STM036), and Team (STM034) menus have been removed from SoftExpert Storeroom and are now centralized in SoftExpert Administration.

This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place.

The result is greater consistency among the modules, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system.

 

AI chat to add records

Adding records through the Disposal/Treatment (STM043) and Storage type (STM044) menus has become much easier!

With the new AI chat feature, you just need to write what you want with simple phrases, and the system takes care of filling everything out.

See how this feature works:

  1. Type what you want in a text field, as if it was a conversation.
  2. Choose among the suggestions the system will present.
  3. The system will add the record automatically from the chosen example.
  • The "Ask AI" feature will only be available to organizations that are Cloud customers and have SoftExpert Copilot.
  • In order for this resource to work correctly, the AI features permission must be enabled in the Access group (CM011) menu.
 

 

New REST service

A new REST service is now available in SoftExpert Storeroom; it allows for viewing the stock quantity and available quantity of objects added to the storeroom, whether they are items or supplies.
