Requirement - 3.0.0

Check out the innovation in requirement management for this version: the Requirement (REQ021), Requirement revision (REQ022), and Requirement revalidation (REQ035) menus of SoftExpert Requirement are now gathered in a single interface, with a lighter and simpler look, which makes for a much more practical access to the features.

All the requirement creation, revision, and revalidation options are available in just one place, eliminating the need to switch between separate menus.

To access the new unified menu, use the REQ046 code in the search bar. The new interface has been developed to guide users in a clear and intuitive way through the resources.

See how the new unified menu actually works.

You can go back to the old menu any time by clicning on Return to previous version, in the lower left corner of the screen.

Action association in requirement tests

As of this version, it is possible to create and associate action plans or isolated actions directly in requirement test results.

This improvement allows for starting corrective or preventive actions from obtained results, which promotes a more effective requirement management and ensures a more consistent and proactive compliance within control and audit processes.

Requirement test plans integrated with the structure

Now, it is possible to add, edit, and view test plans directly from the requirement structure, which results in a more integrated, agile, and efficient requirement management.

This improvement centralizes the actions in a single environment, making it easier to track information and delivering a unified and complete view of the management process.

In version 3.0, the system keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management.

The Attribute (REQ002), Checklist (REQ003), Reason (REQ010), and Team (REQ012) menus have been removed from SoftExpert Requirement and are now centralized in SoftExpert Administration.

This centralization makes for a simpler and more efficient user experience, allowing data maintenance to be carried out in a single place.

The result is greater consistency among the modules, as well as greater agility for those who manage or use this information in the system.

In this new version, the Test plan (REQ020) and Population (REQ026) menus have been grouped into the Configuration section for a more logic and integrated structure.

This improvement enables a more direct access and make for a more practical, clearer, and better organized system management, facilitating the everyday routine of users.

Unified views for a more practical navigation

In the new SoftExpert Requirement version, the detailed and summarized visions in the Requirement (REQ032) menu have been integrated into the Requirement mapping (REQ039) view menu.

The requirement and mapping view options can be accessed in a single place, which makes for a simpler, convenient, and centralized navigation.

Edit participants in revisions with a variable route

As of this version, it is possible to edit participants directly from the revision tab if the route is configured with a variable type.

This change means greater flexibility and agility for work flow management, as it allows for adjusting the responsible parties as needed throughout the process, without interrupting the progress of the revisions.

Requirements and requirement mapping in the full text search

In version 3.0, the system's full text search has become even more complete!

Now, it is possible to also find requirement and requirement mapping records, which expands the coverage of the results.

This improvement enables greater agility and convenience when viewing information, as it eliminates the need to change screens or perform manual searches.

To learn more about this improvement, access SoftExpert Configuration's release notes.

More agility when creating evaluation methods

For a faster evaluation criterion configuration, now it is possible to copy criteria and results from an existing criterion.

This improvement facilitates the creation of multiple criteria with similar options, reducing manual effort and speeding up the creation of complete and standardized evaluation methods.

Task transfer in SoftExpert Requirement

Previously, when transferring a task between teams, the system would also change the team responsible for the object associated with the requirement. Thus, other tasks related to the same object would be transferred automatically, without the user knowing about it.

In version 3.0, the automatic transfer of control test and requirement test tasks has been removed.

Now, responsibilities can be transferred between users or teams through the Management > Task transfer > Team (AD039) menu or the Management > Task transfer > User (AD041) menu, which ensures greater control and traceability for reassigned activities.

This update seeks to make the process more transparent by allowing the user to know exactly which tasks are being transferred.

Task center

The Task center is an evolution of the old My tasks menu, now with a more modern and efficient proposal.

Previously, the user needed to access different screens in order to execute activities such as revisions, revalidations, etc.

With the new Center, all tasks are gathered in a single optimized environment, which allows for a more fluid and centralized navigation.

This redesign brings about greater convenience to the day-to-day routine, as it allows for viewing, filtering, and executing tasks of different types in a single place.
