Configuration - 3.0.0
Correction of vulnerabilities
Fix applied to critical vulnerability that allowed for executing an arbitrary code on the server through malicious requests, strengthening input validation and data sanitization.
Tomcat updated to version 9.0.109.
New job queue version
In this version, significant improvements have been made to the performance and architecture of the job queue, ensuring greater scalability and speed for the system's critical processes.
Full text search: a new complete experience
The system's Full text search has been completely redesigned with new features that make locating and interacting with records faster and more intuitve.
Check out the main improvements:
- New interface, with a modern design and clearer information.
- Richer results displaying details that help quickly identify the desired record.
- Suggested actions that show the workflows related to the search and allow for starting them directly from the results screen.
- Highlighted results that allow for interacting with records from any place in SoftExpert Suite, without the need to open the search screen.
- Recent search history, which facilitates quick access to the latest searches performed.
- Navigation path in the results, which allows for easily returning to the menus of the records.
- Preview for records that have images.
- Filters enhanced with new options to refine search results.
- Intelligent sorting to organize the results by relevance or by the date of the last update.
Enhancements in the e-mail sending structure
In version 3.0, the system has received improvements in the e-mail sending structure, which ensures greater performance and reliability.
Check out the new features:
E-mail server configuration
Usability improvements in the process of configuring an e-mail server.
E-mail resending
Now, the system automatically validates whether a configured e-mail server is the appropriate one before resending, which ensures the correct use of the operating server.
History and auditing
New structure to store e-mail history, ensuring full traceability and compliance with audit requirements.
Version update scheduling
As of version 3.0, the Manage account (CM056) menu contains the System version tab.
It allows for scheduling SoftExpert Suite updates in a controlled and automated manner, ensuring greater predictability and security in environment updates.
With the new features, you can:
- Check the system's specifications.
- Check new versions made available by SoftExpert.
- Schedule updates.
- Have access to the update request history.
- Displayed data: request ID #, user, request date, update date, requested version, patch, and status.

License control enhanced
In the new version, the Manage account (CM056) menu has been complemented with the Licenses tab.
It allows for viewing active licenses and requesting contact with SoftExpert's sales team in an automated manner within the system itself.
Learn about the options available in the tab:
- List of active licenses:
- It allows for viewing a summary with the following information: Profile, Use type, Acquisition type, Expiration date, Components, and Available license users and linked users.
- Displays the modules purchased in each license.
- Increase the number of users:
- The user specifies the number of new users that will be linked, and the system automatically sends a notification to SoftExpert's sales team.

AI credit purchase and consumption panel
In version 3.0, the Manage account (CM056) menu has been complemented with the Add-ons and Consumption tabs.
From the Add-ons tab, the user can purchase credits to be consumed when using the artificial intelligence features available in SoftExpert Suite.
The credit purchase process is simple:
- The user chooses credit values that are multiples of 1000 (one thousand).
- They inform agreeing on the terms of use and the Privacy policy.
- Purchase confirmation:
- The purchase will be added to a 12-month contract that will be available in the Billing tab.
- After the purchase is confirmed, the credits will be automatically made available for use.
The Consumption tab will work as a penal for the user to view how and where in the system their purchased features are being spent.
The tab will be split into two subtabs:
- API: displays the This month, API distribution, and Consumption per API information.
- Copilot: displays the Credits used this month, Credits used this year, Request per component, and Spending per feature information.
From this panel, the user will be able to monitor the consumption of the purchased features, which results in greater control over their environment.

New countersign request option
In the new version of the system, the Request countersign when performing task option has been removed and replaced with the Request user countersign when performing critical operations in the system feature.
The new configuration means greater security when executing operations in the system, without being limited only to task execution.

Audit trail retention period configuration improved
In version 3.0, the configuration of the retention period of records in the audit trail has been simplified.
Previously, there were two fields, one for configuring the retention in the main tables, and the other for configuring the retention in the history tables.
Now, there is only one option, and the system itself understands that it must migrate the audit trail records to the history tables in order to optimize the overall performance of the system.

With this change, the Storage filter ("Active logs" and "Logs in file") has been removed from the Monitoring > Audit trail (CM002) screen in SoftExpert Configuration, since now the system itself understands which tables it must search, based on the filtered period.
Import of saved searches from old menus
A resource that allows the user to import saved searches that existed in old menus has been added to some new menus, so there is no need to create these saved searches manually in the new menus.
The menus that have this option will display a notice at the top of the screen.

If this feature is necessary in a menu in which it is not available yet, you can issue an RDF (Request for Development) so that the import of saved searches becomes available.
Menus discontinued
With the implementation of the new menus and the import of saved searches, some old menus might be discontinued soon.
If you are still using an old menu, pay attention to the warning, similar to that in the image below, that will appear on the screen and start planning ahead to use only the new respective menu.
