Process - 2.2.4

Security and stability enhanced

Security and good performance are always key. In this version, we have implemented improvements that include:

  • Correction of vulnerabilities: we have enhanced protection mechanisms to make the system even more secure.
  • Performance optimization: we have made internal adjustments to ensure quicker responses and a more fluid use of the tool.
  • PHP 8.3 compatibility: now, SoftExpert Suite is updated to support the most recent version of PHP, bringing about greater stability and support in the long term.

Migration to a new unified association structure in SoftExpert Process

In version 2.2.4 of SoftExpert Suite, we have completed the migration of associations from the Process component to the new unified structure

With this change, association management has been standardized, making the process more efficient and ensuring greater integration with the other components.

The association screens in the data of processes and activities have been redesigned to reflect this new structure, offering a more organized and intuitive interface

Moreover, all existing associations have been migrated to the new table, ensuring that the relationships among the objects of the Process component are always correct and up-to-date. With this update, data can be associated in a structured manner:

  • At the process level, it is possible to link characteristics, competences, controls, courses, indicators, kanbans, requirements, and risks.
  • At the activity level, the associations include characteristics, controls, indicators, kanbans, requirements, and risks.

This reorganization brings about significant benefits, such as the standardization of association screens within SoftExpert Suite, promoting greater organization and integration among the components.

Furthermore, the consolidation of the associations in one single structure facilitates future data materializations, ensuring greater scalability and stability in the system.

With these changes, the Process component becomes more robust and better prepared for future evolutions, ensuring a more efficient and reliable user experience.

New SoftExpert Process default frames

Version 2.2.4 of SoftExpert Suite presents a new main screen in the Process component – more modern, standardized, and practical.

With optimized filters and a new listing, records are easier to view and manage.

Now, it is possible to create a new item from scratch, import a template, use the "Ask AI" option – available to those who have the Copilot component –, or even use a REST API to automate the process.

This screen also allows for exporting data from lists in a format that can be reused in other environments of the system. Moreover, it is possible to edit records individually, change statuses, or delete multiple items all at once.

The list of updated screens includes:

  • Critical success factor.
  • Information warehouse.
  • Material warehouse.
  • Third-party entity.
  • Reason.
  • Characteristic type.

All this is meant for streamlining the routine and making management even more efficient.

The “Ask AI” resource will only be available to customers that have the license for SoftExpert Copilot.

Records from the Process component centralized in SoftExpert Administration

Version 2.2.4 of SoftExpert Suite keeps moving forward when it comes to standardizing data management in the system.

The Defect, Cause, Measurement unit, and Resource type creation menus have been removed from SoftExpert Process and are all gathered in the Administration component now.

With this centralization, the user experience becomes simpler and more efficient.

Data maintenance can be performed in one single place, promoting greater consistency among the components and facilitating the day-to-day routine of those who manage or use this information in the system.
