Machine translation

You can now automate the translation of attributes, checklists, dynamic navigators, and permission profiles. This feature is essential to simplify international collaboration and improve accessibility to teams around the world.

To start using this new tool, simply follow these steps: adding a translation API, enabling the "Suggest machine translation" option on the translation screen, and selecting the desired languages. Thus, whenever the translation screen is accessed and the language is chosen, the system will automatically translate the values.

It is essential to choose the desired languages for the translation to be performed correctly. If the "Suggest machine translation" option is enabled, but no languages are selected, the values will not be translated.

Watch the video below for a practical example of this feature:

To use this feature, it is necessary to acquire SoftExpert Copilot. Moreover, it will only be available for clients who use the SoftExpert Cloud platform.

In this version, for text translation, the Google v2, Google v3, and SE Suite APIs can be used. For file translation, only the Google v3 API can be used.

Support for the PATCH method in REST data sources

From version 2.2.2 onwards, it will be possible to perform integrations with APIs that require the HTTP PATCH method. When creating a REST data source and selecting the PATCH method, the JSON template can be configured and sent in the request, just as the POST and PUT methods work in previous versions.

New credential registration screen

To simplify the maintenance of REST data source configurations, the API authentication information will be registered separately from the other configurations.

A new credential screen (AD069) has been created to register the necessary information for API authentication, such as user, password, token, and more. This credential can be used in several REST data sources, which facilitates security updates, such as changing passwords and tokens. Thus, the information will be centered in a single location and will be reflected in all linked REST data sources.

To ensure the functioning of previously created REST data sources, a migration logic has been developed in which each REST data source will generate a credential with the authentication data that were registered, and this credential will be linked to the corresponding source.

External user e-mail update

In this recent version, it will be possible to update the e-mail field directly through the external user general data screen. It is now possible to easily edit and update contact information without the need to access multiple screens or menus. This improvement aims to increase system usability and efficiency, making profile management screens more agile and accessible.

It is important to note that this feature is also available in version 2.2.1.
