Creating an audit organization

 

 

Prerequisites

 

Introduction

SoftExpert Audit allows for adding all the organizations that may apply the audits created in the system.

To illustrate, we will add the "FinSafe Audits & Consulting" organization.

See how to perform this operation:

 

Adding an audit organization

1. Access the File > Audit organization (AU006) menu.

2. Click on the arrow next to the button and select the Add option.

3. Select the company type that classifies the organization and click on the button.

4. On the screen that will open, enter an ID # and a name for the organization.

5. In the available fields, enter the organization's address, city, state, country, postal code, phone #, fax #, code, and home page.

6. In the Type field, check the options corresponding to the types of the audits carried out by the organization: 1st party (internal audit), 2nd party - Supplier, 2nd party - Customer, and 3rd party (external audit).

7. In the Coordinate section, select a format and add the organization's coordinates data.

8. In the Description field, write important notes about the organization.

9. Click on the Save button.

10. Once the record is saved, the other tabs will be enabled for completion. See how to fill them out in the video below:

• If there are attributes associated in the company type to complement the information, the Attribute tab will be displayed. See more details about attributes and how to fill them out by clicking here.

• In the Documentation section, it is possible to add attachments and associate documents related to the audit organization. See more details about these operations by clicking here

Associating an existing organization

The system allows for reusing companies registered in SoftExpert Administration as audit organizations.

To this end, the company must be associated with the Audit component. See how to perform this operation:

1. Access the File > Audit organization (AU006) menu.

2. Click on the arrow next to the button and select the Associate existing record option.

3. On the screen that will open, use the search filters to look for the desired company.

4. Select the company and click on the button.

 

Conclusion

All done! Once audit organizations are added, they can be designated as parties responsible for audits created in the system.
