Introduction

Having access to characteristic-related results allows for a complete and detailed view of how a production process is performing. Considering the specific nature of each characteristic, results will also present different responses.

Whereas the results of variable characteristics are analyzed numerically, enabling fine adjustments to the process, attribute characteristics result in conformity analyses, which can be useful to detect failures in products or processes that do not meet established standards.

See how to access characteristic results:

Viewing results

1. Access the View > Data collection (SP007) menu.

2. Locate the collection/characteristic whose result you wish to view. Use the filters, if necessary.

3. Click on the View icon. button to view the data.

4. From the collection tracking screen, click on the Results tab of the Charts section.

To compare results, select two characteristic records belonging to the same category (variable/attribute), on the home screen, and expand the View icon. button to click on the Compare values option.

Conclusion

By following these steps, it is possible to view characteristic results obtained from samples filled out in the collection. This resource allows for simultaneously monitoring different types of data, which provides a comprehensive view of the characteristics that require precise measurements and those that depend on qualitative assessment.
