Prerequisites
- Access to the Management > Graphical Analysis (ST011) menu.
- Type of graphical analysis previously configured.
Introduction
The graphical analysis feature allows you to create charts to analyze the behavior of scorecard elements and indicators over time.
These analyses allow for comparisons between different periods or between different indicators/elements, facilitating the visual interpretation of results and supporting decision-making.
This article will demonstrate how to create a graphical analysis.
Create graphical analysis
1. Access the Management > Graphical Analysis (ST011) menu.
2. Click the button
and select the type of graphical analysis.
3. Provide an identifier and a name for the analysis.
4. Click
to enable the General tab.
5. In the General tab, the settings for the graphical analysis are defined.
General
Type of chart analysis
Displays the selected type at the time of inclusion, allowing for changes.
Quantity of elements/indicators
Define whether the analysis will consist of only one element/indicator or more than one element/indicator.
If you select the More than one element/indicator option , associate the elements or indicators with the graphical analysis and define, in the Column field , what information will be displayed for each association.
If you select the option Only one element/indicator , you will need to specify the element or indicator to be analyzed. If the record has children in the scorecard structure, these will not be considered in the chart.
To make the graphical analysis more complete, you can fill in the remaining fields:
Viewing frequency
Define which frequencies will be displayed on the graph:
- Period .
- 2nd accumulation .
- Accumulation .
- Years : specify how many previous periods will be considered in the graph, for example, 1 will consider only the current year; 2 will consider the current year and the previous year.
- Columns : select which information will be displayed in the chart, such as target, measurement, score, percentage, etc.
Display band color in chart background.
This option will only be available if the accrual frequency is selected.
When selected, the chart background will be colored according to the indicator bands. Select what will be displayed: Value , Score , or Percentage .
Parameters
Each option changes how the information is presented visually:
- Display summary hint.
- Display the band color in the chart bar.
- Exclusive series for accumulating points.
Viewing period
Define the period to be displayed on the chart, such as: current period, previous period, etc.
6. In the Related tab, the indicators and portal widgets that use graphical analysis are listed.

7. Click to save the graphical analysis registration.
8. After defining the data for the graphical analysis, if you wish to customize the chart, select the analysis from the list of records and click the Chart Settings button. The chart configurator will be displayed, where you can adjust the chart type, colors, labels, and other visual options.

The Graphical Analysis menu offers the option to include comparative analysis. This feature is available exclusively for indicators with monthly frequency and annual accumulation.
On the portals, comparative analysis is displayed along with graphical analyses in the Graphical Analysis widget.
Conclusion
The SoftExpert Performance graphical analysis feature allows you to create customized and comparative visualizations for scorecard elements and indicators.
With it, you can analyze the evolution of results over time, compare indicators or elements graphically, and configure different forms of visual presentation.
