Executing a third-party calibration activity
Prerequisites
- Access to the Execution > Activity execution (MA010) menu.
- Previously configured third-party calibration plan.
- Previously created third-party service center.
Introduction
If the Create activity automatically option is checked in the activity plan, the system will automatically create the calibration activity, sending it directly to the responsible technician. Thus, the steps in this article become useful for activity plans that do not have the automatic creation option checked, or for when an activity outside the frequency needs to be created.
In this article, as an example, a third-party calibration activity will be created from the plan configured in the previous step, the objective of which is to obtain the results of the point-based measurements.
Executing a calibration activity
Click here and watch the video to learn how to execute a third-party calibration activity. Use a calibration plan with a standard activity and third-party service center to create the activity.
The mandatory steps described in the video for creating the record to be used in the third-party calibration flow are illustrated below, as an example.
Conclusion
Once all calibration data and measurement results are entered, the third-party calibration flow will have been completed successfully! Access the other flows of the introduction article to learn how to use other resources of the Maintenance component.
