Defining a third-party calibration plan
Prerequisites
- Access to the Management > Activity plan definition (MA006) menu.
- Previously created standard activity for third-party calibration (with point-based result input).
- Previously created team.
Introduction
An activity plan is the record used to define the activities, assets, technicians, and recurrence of a maintenance (preventive and with route), calibration, or verification.
The objective of this record is to provide resources for a more complete activity planning, such as the possibility of creating activities automatically with a certain frequency.
In this sense, an activity plan is important for the calibration, as it is responsible for managing the configurations of the calibration activities referring to the organization's assets.
In this article, as an example, a third-party calibration plan with point-based result will be defined.
Defining a calibration plan
All activity plan types have the same fields and features.
Click here and watch the video to learn how to create an activity plan. The video is about a maintenance flow, but describes all fields of an activity plan.
However, when following the instructions in the video, use a standard activity for third-party calibration configured with point-based result input in order to create the plan, as well as an ID # and a name that are consistent with the calibration plan being created.
In the illustration below, the main steps of the video, which are mandatory, will be presented to demonstrate the creation of the calibration plan that will be used to develop the third-party calibration flow with point-based result.
Conclusion
Now that the calibration plan has been defined, the next step is to create a service center.
