• SoftExpert Copilot as part of the solutions acquired by the organization.                  
• Cloud-hosted SoftExpert Suite environment.
• Access to the registration screens that offer the "Create by import" option.

Presentation

The ability to export files in a compatible format for import facilitates data replication between environments, such as from validation to approval, and eliminates the need for manual adjustments, providing greater speed and accuracy.

This article describes the procedure for exporting and importing files.

Export file

As an example, the procedure will be demonstrated on the Reason screen of the SoftExpert Risk component, but the process is the same on other screens that offer this feature.

1. To export the file in the import format, go to the Settings > Review > Reason ( RI122 ) menu.
2. Create a reason or perform a search to retrieve records of reasons already registered.
3. With the selected reason records, click the Reports button .
4. Select the Export listing option .
5. Choose the export format "Export in import format" and click “ Generate report”.
6. Save the generated file.

Import file

1. On the screen where you want to perform the import, click the button , and then click By Import .
2. Drag and drop a file or use the select button to upload the file you want to import.
3. After uploading the file, the data to be imported will be displayed on the screen.
4. Click on Import records and the records will be processed and imported. 
5. Click on Record Details to verify if the import was successful. If an error occurs while importing any record, you can export the records with the error, make the necessary adjustments, and re-import them.
6. Click the Close button .
7. The imported records will be displayed in the listing.
