• Survey with recorded descriptive answers.
• Previously configured generative AI and NLP API.
• ''AI features'' permission enabled in Configuration > Access group (CM011) > Other permissions > AI features.

Introduction

In SoftExpert Survey, Artificial Intelligence (AI) allows users to summarize descriptive answers and comments, facilitating the evaluation and understanding of longer contents.

This article will demonstrate how AI operates in SoftExpert Survey.

Summarize descriptive answers with AI

1. Access the Survey (SV031) menu.

2. Locate the survey and right-click on it.

3. Select the Open data option.

4. Access the Result tab and click on the Summary button.

5. After viewing the general information of the summary, click on the Next button to access the survey answers.

6. On the question with a descriptive answer, click on the Summarize answers button and wait.

7. After the AI analyzes and generates the summary, it will be possible to edit what was generated or request that the AI redo the summary.

8. To edit the generated result, click on the text field and change what is necessary.

9. To request a new summary, click on the Generate button, in the AI agent field.

10. Lastly, click on the Add button to add the answer summary to the survey.
