Prerequisites

• Previously created application, configured with at least one menu based on a process.
• User with permission to access the application, granted through the access group.

Introduction

When the application is available for use, users can access the menus based on processes to open instances directly through them.

As an example, we will start an instance in the “Travel request” menu, configured with a travel request process.

Creating an instance through the application

1. Access the process menu of the application.

2. Click on the Create button.

3. On the screen that will open, enter a title for the instance.

4. Click on the Start button. The instance will be created, and the workflow activity execution screen will open.

After the instance is created, users will be able to execute the activities through the My tasks menu. To locate the activities, it is necessary to search for SoftExpert Workflow > Activity execution in the task menu.

The instances can be tracked directly through the process menu of the application, or through SoftExpert Workflow > General > Workflow (WF022).
