Attribute security
Prerequisite
- Access to the Configuration > Attribute menu.
Introduction
The security of an attribute allows only certain users, teams, etc., to have permission to view or edit it.
For example: it is possible to configure for the Responsible for the activity attribute to be viewed by all system users (public), but to be edited by managers only.
Configuring the attribute security
1. Access the attribute data screen on edit mode.
2. Then, access the Security tab and enable the Private option.

3. Fill out the fields on the Edit and View columns to define the users, teams, departments, and/or positions that will have permission to perform the respective operations.
4. To do so, simply enter the name of the desired user, team, department, or position in the available field and select the corresponding option in the list that will be displayed or press ENTER on the keyboard.
5. After that, save the attribute record.
- If the Public option remains selected, all system users can view the attribute, but only those defined in the Edit column can edit it.
- The user who created the attribute and the system administrator will always have permission to access the record, even if they are not added to the listings.
Conclusion
After defining the security configurations and saving them, they will be applied to the record.
