Creating a delivery
Prerequisite
- Access to the File > Delivery (PR066) menu.
Introduction
Creating deliveries allows for recording the results expected during the execution of a project, whether said results are planned beforehand or identified as the tasks move forward.
Deliveries can be associated with project tasks later. This allows the same delivery to be linked to different steps, which makes it possible to reuse and control generated results in a centralized manner.
Creating a delivery
1. Access the File > Delivery (PR066) menu.
2. Click on the toolbar button.
3. Enter an ID # and a name for the delivery.
4. In the Status field, inform whether the delivery has been started or closed. Until a status is defined, the delivery will remain with the "Not started" status.
This field will only be enabled for editing on the task data screen, through the Execution > Task execution (PR017) menu.
5. In the Required field, select one of the following options:
- Yes: the delivery will be required, that is, the task can only be closed if the delivery is carried out. To this end, in the Status field of the delivery, the "Closed" option must be selected.
- No: the delivery will not be required, that is, the task can be closed even if the delivery is not carried out.
6. In the Description field, enter a description for the delivery.
7. Check the Make the filling of the result fields when closing mandatory option so that filling in the "Result" field is required when closing the delivery. The "Result" field will be made available in the closure step.
8. Save the record to finish creating the delivery.

Conclusion
Once created, the deliveries will be available for association with project tasks, making it easier to track what must be produced. Click here for more details on the execution of project tasks.
