Presentation

The action registration feature allows you to record, in the system, all possible actions that can be used during the FMEA analysis. 

These actions aim to prevent the type or cause of the failure, hinder its occurrence, limit its effects, or increase the probability of detection.

By maintaining a standardized register of actions, SoftExpert FMEA facilitates the reuse of this information during the assembly of the FMEA structure, promoting greater consistency, agility, and standardization in the definition of corrective and preventive actions.

Register action

1. Access the menu Registration > Action (FM008).

2. Click the arrow next to the Create button and choose the Blank option.

3. On the screen displayed, enter a name that identifies the action.

4. In the Recommended Action field, describe in detail the action that can be taken to address the failure.

5. After filling in the information, click to complete the registration of the action.

After registration, the actions become available for selection during:

• The FMEA framework is assembled by recording recommended actions for the causes of failure.
• The execution and monitoring of actions, according to the flow defined in the FMEA.
