Exporting and importing reports

 

Prerequisites

  • Access to the Configuration > Customize > Report (CM027) menu.
  • Previously created report.

 

Introduction

The report import and export resource of SoftExpert Suite improves data management, allowing users to export and import reports involving different environments of the organization.

Only new and customized reports can be exported. It is not possible to export system reports.

Use the Report type column to identify the reports.

Exporting a report

1. Access the Configuration > Customize > Report (CM027) menu.

2. Search for and select the report you wish to export.

3. Click on the More toolbar option.

4. Click on the Export option. A .zip file will be generated with the data and template files of the report.

 

Importing a report

1. Access the Configuration > Customize > Report (CM027) menu.

2. Click on the More toolbar option.

3. Click on the Import option.

4. On the screen that will open, upload the report file containing the template files you wish to use in the SoftExpert Suite report. Use the .zip file generated during the export.

5. Click on the button.

6. To edit the data of the imported report, keep it selected in the list of records and click on the button.

• The imported report can be identified by the newImported prefix in its ID #.
