Running a mobile simulation

Prerequisites

  • Access to the File > Form (FO005) menu.
  • Previously created and designed web form.

 

Introduction

Unlike responsive forms, web forms are not automatically built to be displayed in their mobile version.

Therefore, if a web form is associated with a process whose activities will be executed on mobile devices, we have to define which fields must appear in the mobile version.

Running a mobile simulation

1. Access the File > Form (FO005) menu.

2. Select the previously designed form.

3. Click on the arrow next to the Edit icon. button and select Form designer.

User following the steps described above to access the editor of a non-responsive form.

4. From the toolbar of the Form designer screen, click on the Mobile button.

5. In the Mobile simulation section, it is possible to see how the form will be shown in the mobile completion version. Use the buttons of the Form fields section to enable or disable the fields in the mobile version.

6. After enabling all fields needed in the mobile version, close the simulation screen and click on the Save button.

User following the steps described above to run the mobile simulation of a non-responsive form.
