Editing report parameters
Prerequisites
- Access to the Configuration > Customize > Report (CM027) menu.
- Previously created report.
Introduction
In some cases, the reports created in the system have parameters, which are intended for the user to provide specific data or for the system to pass this data on to the report.
The Parameter tab of the report data screen displays the editable parameters of the report.
In reports of the System type, the parameters are native to SoftExpert Suite itself, whereas in reports of the New and Customized types, they originate from the .jrxml files associated in the File tab.
See how to edit these parameters:
Editing report parameters
1. Access the Configuration > Customization > Report (CM027) menu.
2. Select the report whose parameters you wish to edit and click on the button.
3. In the Parameter tab, select the record you wish to edit and click on the button.

4. On the screen that will open, enter a name for the parameter.
5. Use the Description field to record relevant information about the parameter.
6. Enter the default value of the parameter.
7. Click on the button.
