Prerequisites
- Previously created and associated characteristic.
- Access to the view menus of the components.
Introduction
Once characteristics are created and associated, they can be searched for in the components.
Below, see the menus in which this operation can be performed:
Viewing characteristics
SoftExpert PDM
1. Access the View > Item (IT016) menu.
2. In the Advanced filters section, click on the 
button and select Characteristic.
3. Fill in the ID # and Name fields to filter the search through the information of the characteristic.
4. Then, click on the SEARCH button.
5. Select the desired record and click on the 
button to view its data.
SoftExpert SPC
1. Access the View > Data collection (SP007) menu.
2. In the Advanced filters section, click on the button and select Characteristic.
3. Fill in the ID #, Name, and Characteristic type fields to filter the search through the information of the characteristic.
4. Then, click on the SEARCH button.
5. Select the desired record and click on the button to view its data.
