• Access the menu Registration > Requirement (FM011).

Presentation

Requirements represent the needs and expectations that must be met by the project, process, asset, schedule, or object being analyzed. 

They are directly related to the client's objectives, whether internal or external, and serve as a basis for identifying potential failure modes.

Failure to meet the registered requirements may result in performance, compliance, or quality failures, making the correct recording and management of this information in the FMEA essential.

Register requirement

1. Access the Registration > Requirement (FM011) menu.

2. In the main screen toolbar, click the arrow next to the button and select the type of FMEA to which the requirement will apply:

• Design FMEA.
• Process FMEA.
• Asset FMEA.
• Project Schedule FMEA.
• Object FMEA.

3. In the Name field, enter a name that clearly identifies the requirement.

4. In the Description field, describe in detail the requirement to be met.

5. After filling in the fields, click to complete the registration.

After registration, the requirements become available for selection during:

• The FMEA framework is assembled, serving as the basis for defining the functions.
• Identifying failure modes, when requirements are not met as expected.
